Lift Pins
My lift pins going to the mower deck carrier are getting flat spots cut into them. What do ya think? Weld and grind back to shape or drill them out and weld in new rods as pins?
 They are the ones on the tractors two lift arms.

I'm with adam. If they are just worn flat, through maybe a 1/3 of the thickness of the pin or less...I'd weld it. If it were mine, and it were worn quite a bit, I would grind it off, make up some new pins and weld them in. Ive done it both ways over the years depending on the amount of wear...The ones on my 1211 were only hanging by a thread when I got it....so she got new pins :biggrin2.gif:
