Default Snow Plow Lift Rod Question
I have a snow plow from my previous 1650 that I have used on my 782 for the past 2 seasons. Everything seemed to hook-up and work well but have noticed that the lift rod from the 1650 plow rubs the frame of my 782 when it is raised all the way up. Is there a different rod needed and also a different bracket on the plow needed than that used on the 1650 plow? If so can someone post a picture of the bracket and rod. Thanks

In a similar situation on mine (1450 & 782) I made a lift rod and put a slight bend in the rod to clear the side panels, when the dozer blade is mounted on the 782.

Since you didn't like the answer provided, and you have provided NO images of your setup, one can only speculate what you have.

The possibility exists that you have the wrong lift arm on your "A frame".

Wig the 782 requires a lift rod with a slight bend. Like Roland said you also need to make sure you have the correct lift bracket. If the current rod is long enough you could put it in a vice and give it a slight bend.

Rod is long enough. What does the correct lift bracket look like? I have a blade set-up off of a 1650 that worked just fine. Can someone post a picture of the correct rod with a bend?
