A really good size pipe wrench and the elbow should come out. I have found it best to warm up the motor and then try it. Don't burn yourself. If you have access to a 1" pipe tap clean out the threads in the block when you get the elbow out. Use some form of lubricant when using the tap also. Do not want to break any flutes off the tap.

And don't forget if you're going off the head with your "stack" put on some type of brace so you don't end up with bigger problems.

I bought all the parts for my stack at tractor supply. Make a brace that comes off the head.

Yup, that will work. I haven't seen it, but heard that the vibration with a stack and no brace will crack your head. NOT GOOD
 Also if you haven't tried freeing the existing pipe yet, I used some P.B. Blaster first, let it sit overnight before cranking on it. Good luck. And  The guys on here are the best, and know their stuff, they've helped me a great deal.
