Mower Deck Bearings
I have at least two shot bearings on my mower deck. I have read in some post that the older decks use the same bearings as some car or truck and can easily get the bearing at an auto part store. Does this include my deck? If so, what are the bearings for? See pictures below. The serial number is 381 U 1113. Thanks for the help.

If i remember right they are timken bearings,so you should be able to pull them out and go to NAPA and they can get you some from the number on the bearing

According to the service manual for the 104, it shows that they are tapered bearings. I have yet to rip into them. I could probably size them up before ordering. Thanks for the help.

You were dead on, even says LM-11949 on the bearing and it is still readable. Thanks.
