Every few days my wife keeps running in the house to tell me something "black" is in the pasture.
We have been "Turkey Central" this year, they love the crab grass seed!! D7K_0651800x578.jpg |

Wife's first bow kill and coyote
My wife Nancy got her first bow kill. It's a 1 1/2 year old doe, she was busting at the seems.
Then on our second day of the firearms season she took this female coyote at 95 yards with her 308, now she wants to have a pedestal mount done. Gotta love her, pretty soon I can just sit in the shop and let her do all the hunting. I had to put my bow buck in too. The family that hunts together, stays together. Won't go hungry this year! NO, we aren't eating the yote.

Deer with .58 Caliber Springfield
Here's a picture of a buck I got with my .58 Springfield that I have used in Civil War living history events. Decent 6 point.

Congrats to both of you. My wife does not hunt but does help with the processing and she does do the cooking.

Well she cooks it, that's a good start. My wife never thought of shooting anything when we met, but all that changed, now I think she could be considered an addict.

My son had to show me how to hunt!
I just found this thread so I had to contribute!
I've been whitetail hunting now for 30+ years. In that time the best rack I've been able to put on the wall is an 8 point. My son was able to hunt his first youth hunt last year. Well, the little rascal had two 8 pointers walk out in after about an hour in the shanty. Then regular season comes around and all I can muster this year is a 5 point. So what does my son do... he goes out with me on the weekend following the opener and gets another 8 pointer! Sheesh!! Here is his two bucks! |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
