782 Rear Lift
I've searched for two days and can't seem to find the answer so here goes , did they make a rear lift for the later serial # 782 Hydro ?? I have a wide frame lift here but it fits the manual lift cubs. Was hoping to make it work but not sure if it will. All the info I can find is for the lower serial # cubs. TIA Paul

If I recall, the lifts are the same, but the bolts to the frame are different. I have several of each lift (WF) and 82 series, but haven't seen them for years. Just sat them down once I got them and they are in my cub pile. I think the bolts to the 82 series were kind of like Frankenstein bolts. Someone else can chime in with pics or correct me if I am wrong.

Yes the bolts are different. PBJ makes those special bolts. you still will have to see if the lift bar off a quiet line will work though.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
