Looks like a real project! It's good that it now belongs to someone that can revive it and appreciate its worth.

Come on hydro67. Everyone wants to see the serial number. The tractor is probably glad to be away from patch and back to work. When you're done with her she'll have another half century to look forward to.

You got quite a project there, but the key parts are there.

That's a real early non-spring trip blade. Those are kinda rare.

Nice find! I'm betting that Originals are pretty rare around you.

LMAO, Be careful with that blade, if you hit something solid hiding under the snow it will give you a jolt!

I make no apologies for the Originals being my favorite, once you get it finished you will love it.

If you look around on that harrow you may find a Sears and Roebuck tag, probably made by Brinly.

Wow Jason, great find.

You have a lot of goodies there..... non-trip blade, wheel weights, three point, oil bath air cleaner, and the pan seat looks good. The steering box and wheel should be no problem or the hood.

That was the battery box you have there. The battery just sits on those two flat spots on the pedestal and metal went around it.

Looks like a decent harrow too. Have fun with it, there is something about the OCC's that is just cool. I love how they sit and drive.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
