122 project
I bought my 122 over 20 years ago, and am now cleaning her up and getting ready for a plow day in April. I ordered new rims and Carlsiles today. I spent today finishing up cleaning the years of oil and dirt off. I have all new ignition parts and rebuilt the carb. When I fire her up, I'll give a report. But for now, a pic of how nice and yellow she still is.

Looks good and clean.
 Did you have to replace gaskets or seals to stop the leaking issue?

I got lucky installing the lower hitch plate. Not a drop of oil came out. Maybe because I bought the gasket ahead go time. ha ha I did, however change the oil in the rear end, as well as the engine. The carb is back together. Next is the tune up.

You're exactly right, the best way to avoid needing something is to have a brand new one setting on the shelf ready to go.
