Parker/ IH lawn sweeper
Got another lawn sweeper at a sale, this one says made by Parker, Part No D-67-20 RF. It's a good bit larger than my 1A sweeper. Getting new canvas on the hopper now, need to get the hitch for it, any ideas? Picture shows what is in it now

Thanks, I have a 1A sweeper, the yoke is completely different from this new one. Done a lot of searching can't find any information on it. Not sure if it's an IH #2 or what. It's a 36" sweep

Yoke on this one is a beefy piece of steel. Can see the ghost line where a hitch clamped to it. Think might have to go custom route, Jeff in PA?

Well, I went to the IH holy grail of implement manuals, the CPE-2...paper edition.
Lo & behold, I learned something today. IH offered three (3) lawn sweepers. Those being: * Model 1 * Model 1A * Model 2 (1st generation) * Model 2 (2nd generation) Attached, are the Hitch Yokes for both versions of the Model 2

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
