Default CC 682 worth getting to fix and sell?

Hey Guys,

Is this 682 easily worth the $250 to fix and sell?
Are any of the 682 parts compatible/interchangeable with my 1650 Quietline?

http://southjersey.craigslist.org/grd/5752457430.html

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response guys. Jonathan, you're a funny guy with quick jabs at me and many others from what I've read over the past month. I'm looking to help support the cost of fixing up the 1650 for my son and we've learned a lot on our own, with help from many members on this site (thanks everyone) and other sources. I unfortunately do not have the room to store two tractors, but do know how to fix things and might like to attempt fixing the 682 Hydro and selling to make a profit. Call me crazy, but I do not want to do this project and lose money. My son and I like fixing things, but not if I can't get my money back on a project like this.

I did a search for 682 and got no results. So it's hard to know how much a 682 Hydro tractor is worth. This one is not running, but if everything else checks out and we fix it up for $100 or less then maybe that can help us restore the 1650 in a much better way!

I'm no expert...but it is fun learning about these tractors, fixing and sharing with the group.

Thanks, I did find that information from tractor data. I searched OCC and did not find any pricing (value) information on the 682 Hydro.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
