Default 4 Digit Original

You guys know that I bought this Original about 6 months ago for 500.00. I bought a deck, and all the rear end stuff that's on it. I am going to list it on Craigslist, but don't really know what it's worth? Give me your thoughts. It runs good, no problems I can think of. I was thinking 1200.00?

I thought that too at first.... then I realized there is a drill press, grinder, air compressor and other tools in the background. It's just a really nice garage!

Ronnie, it's your tractor and you can price it for as much as you want. I don't know how you price, but I usually leave room to negotiate...... I don't know that $1200 is too high, but it's definitely a "premium" price. One thing is for sure.... there aren't too many 4 digit O's and they aren't making any more of them!

Just my 2 cents, I think your price is a couple hundred low.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
