I took some time last night and today to fab up an A-Frame for the 682's Cat 0 lift. I need to get everything ready for putting the Garden in a few weeks, and have not converted any of my stuff over from sleeve hitch mounts as of yet. So I decided now would be the time to take a wack at something. I started with drawing up a pattern of what I wanted and took it from there..
![]() I don't have a brake press yet, so I am stuck cutting a bend groove in for now. I used 3/8" X 2" flat stock, and 1/4" X 2" angle for materials. ![]() ![]() ![]() The brinly "adaptor" parts mocked up.. ![]() ![]() I was pondering using square stock over angle, but I can always make up another later on. This will get me by for now just fine. I'll get it all welded up tomorrow once I get back from family easter stuffs. More to come...............

Shouldn't the tube for the sleeve hitch be on the other side of the bar? Also, before welding the cuts for your angles, you might want to go a little past the angle you want. The weld will draw the angle in some. I'm not an expert by no means, just expressing some concerns.

Looks good JayBrd. The way you welded it probably kept things from moving as much. Just saw the cuts in the pieces and thought to warn about pull. If you plan to leave the tube outside, I would add a brace inside so it doesn't bend the angle.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
