44 a spindles service?
I have a 44 a deck that I'm trying to get operational. two of the spindles don't seem to spin properly. Has there been a post that addresses fixing this issue. I can't seem to find it. If not does someone have some insight on this? Thanks Matt Are they serviceable?

Not sure about your deck but my 44 inch deck has grease fittings on each of the spindles. Might want to get some really thin grease at first just to get the spindles moving, then put the proper thicker grease in them if you get them moving. Otherwise might want to take them apart if possible and clean them up. I havent been inside of the spindles yet.

You should hear the spindles on my U deck. I am fixing a C deck for this very reason, Bearings are replaceable and from what I have heard are cheap to boot! I think my C ones are ok, just have to get the blades off the A deck I have and new axles on guide wheels, pulley and belt which I picked up today.

44 GT deck spindle
i've located a 44GT deck that a guy had on a 1250 QL 2 of the spindles are sticky, are these spindles serviceable. on first inspection the grease is hard and nasty is there any way to pull out the bearings clean it all up replace with new grease and go. there is a seal that seems to be hindering the removal of the second bearing in spindle. will these parts just need to be replaced. Do i need a special press to put it all back together. Any help would be great. The grass is growing now. Thanks Matt

44 C deck
On the CC parts page for the 44 C deck it shows that they are repairable. Is there another 44 inch deck that isn't? Also, you said the spindles for the 44 C were cheap. How cheap is your cheap? And where did you find them for that cheap price?
