Default Super day!!!

A good friend of mine started a lawn mowing business this spring. I've been helping him as much as possible. He's been using the 1282 to haul mulch on big mulch jobs and getting by on push mowers. Well the business has exploded and they needed to buy a zero turn and a few other things. They looked at exmarks and a few others, and I said lets go to my cub dealer and talk to them, I do alot of business there so I think we'll get a better deal. Well we went yesterday and made a deal, He bought a new Tank w/ triple bagger, a 33" walk behind, a new push mower, a new commercial grade back pack blower, 2 new commercial grade trimmers, and he got a 1988 1872 thrown in the deal. He got everything for less than an exmark with no bagger! The 1872 has a big inspection window in the side of the block, but is in over all great shape. We went todday and picked everything up. Full trailer and filled up my truck bed. We got everything home and unloaded, we brought it all to my house, I said I would find a replacement motor for the 1872 and we can use it to haul things for the business. After we get it all unloaded he throw's me the keys to the super and I said I won't need those anytime soon you keep them so I don't lose them, lol. He said no so should keep the keys to your tractor, we bought it to give to you as a thank you for everything you've done to help us get started. I almost cried and did one of these . Anyway here it is and a couple picture's of the other toys to.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
