Default Chains on a Super Garden Tractor??

Can you put chains on a Super Garden Tractor??
It looks like the chains will hit the fenders?

I was wondering if my tires are "ballooned" due to age or possibly being too low of ply rating (they might be 2 ply).

If I put on 6 ply 26x12x12 tires will they be flatter across the tread giving me more tread-fender clearance?

The tires were originally tubeless and loaded with CaCl by the PO, I drained each and went to tubes as the machine aged and developed flats.

I run about 10 psi.

Or will my SGT remain a Shed Queen when it snows??

My Chevrons don't seem to fill the wheel wells like those turf tires do.

I installed about a half inch of washers under the fender mount by the battery. It leveled the fenders and gave more clearance for chains.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
