Default 123 Restoration Pics

This is my 123 that I have been restoring. This is my first true Cub Cadet restoration. It took me about 1 1/2 years to complete as I was finishing up college, but I can just about say it is done. Got the new skins mounted on the rims saturday and paraded it around the yard Sunday. That was one fun ride around the yard!

That's one sweet 123! All of your hard worked paid off big time! Got a before pic?

The 1st or 3rd pic would be my submission for POTW! Well if I was you they would be.

That's gorgeous! Very inspirational. My 100 will be my first attempt at a restoration and I hope it comes out that nice!

Yes I do have a before pic. I will try to get them on my flash drive tonight.

I hope to take some more pictures in some different lighting to really do it justice. It looks so much better in person!

I think that would be a great idea if you loaded it up and brought it to NC so I could see it in person!

Ok, here is a picture of the tractor as I got it, as well as a few pictures of some of the sheet metal along the way.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
