Default New to me

Well my buddy calls me and said he was on his way to pick up a john deer and some tractor tires . He called later and said the guy had a Cub with his deal, so I went to his house after he got home. He had a set of 23 x 10.50 x 12 ags and a Cub. Well I was on my way. There was a set of Goodyear tires mounted and an O .He even delivered them .

Did not get a chance to tell the wife, as he was coming in the drive way the 3 year old grand son says pa pa has a new tractor. Check out the last picture a rear PTO ! This cub is an early 63 has a motor that was rebuilt and it runs great .
the O had a crappy life as it was used in a chicken coop to clean the alley's .

Nice find! Glad its off chicken duty! Funny thing, I know a family who also had chickens and they had the same setup. Ran a tractor down the aisle and pushed the crap into a trough at the end. They like the cubs they said because the rear ends didn't blew out like the aluminum lawn mower style ones did.

Glad it got to a good home. It's had a hard life, now it's time for it to get some pampering...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
