Cub Cadet 1250 with mid mount aerator custom?
I just picked up this non running cub cadet 1250, its very rough, and I most likely going to use it parts. But check out the aerator on it, was this an available attachment or something the previous owner built? Its all heavy duty and had to be made by a machine shop. Let me know what you think =D

I have never seen one of those aeators but to me I would say it was custom built by the looks of the thick steel plates and the welds. The plates look machined vs stamped. The welds look untouched. Just my opinion. Very nice attachment. I would think it would work well too.

Im not sure that is an aerator? Why would some one mid mount a device like an aerator? looks kinda heavy duty/ I cant wrap my thought s around the thing really.
But what I always wonder when I see the condition of some equuipment; how the heck does it become so neglected and beat? Is that a sign of how their dogs are cared for too?

Sure, in between the wheels is a great place for the aerator... plenty of down force to push the tines in, no need for weights, etc.... it's a hard place to put it since fabrication is needed (ie, there's not already a sleeve hitch available) but it's the ideal spot. The previous owner did a VERY nice job of fabricating that. John

The more I look at the pics side by side, I think it is the same tractor. The diamond plate on the front looks too irregular and similar to be two different cubs. Who would have thought a quick google search would have led me here haha
