Hytran leak on 1782 transmision
Hello ,
There is hytran leak from hydraulic transmision housing area. I starts only after a while- when its hot and working. There is no leak when cold. Anyone knows what could be the cause?

Where exactly is it leaking from? That would give an idea as to where to start the search...

Where it is leaking - it looks like area where hydro pump joins to main chasis housing .- attached one picture; and also area of trunion shaft lip seal. The top of pump where the valves are located is dry.
Can be this leak still be caused by bad valves? or its more gasket problem.. - but then its not leaking when unit is cold/ not operating.

Pull the tunnel cover off and crank the tractor over, do not start it, just let it turn over. I had a similar problem with my 1572, here is a link to what mine looked like. Mine was the one of the valves leaking. Be careful with that tunnel cover off.
