Default Ebay Feedback

Recently, I have made four Ebay purchases. I immediately pay for these items with PayPal. I have received the items and have had no problems. Everything purchased is to my satisfaction. I have left positive feedback for the seller.

NOW of the four purchases I made, I can't get the seller to give me a postive feedback for instant pay. Makes me want to retract the feedback I left. Seems to me, that I spent the extra time to leave a good feedback, that the seller would do the same.....guess not. Once they got the money and the item shipped.....that is it for them.

Yep......you'll get that once in a while, but on the other hand, I've not received feedback some times until a month after the transaction. As long as I get the item, I don't worry too much about it.

R Bedell,
That's just wrong of them. I've had to email one guy to ask him to take the time to leave feed back. And I'm looking at another. Another thing that too many sellers do is never send an email or mark on your page if or when they sent the item. I guess they expect everyone to use the same esp they have. There is no excuse for taking someone's money and then leave them hanging. Although my favorite is that they have been really busy. But never too busy to collect payment. This would make another nice list along with PO's work that should not be allowed to own tools.

R Bedell- I've had the same experience and since started holding off after I receive the item until they leave feedback. After all, they should be ready to leave your feedback right after payment has cleared and immediately when using paypal. You can even send a message through eBay telling them you are ready to leave feedback as soon as yours is received. The better sellers will take time to email you with thanks and give an update on the shipping of the item.
It's a shame there are so many sellers but the good side is variety. There are obviously people selling just to sell, not caring about the product or how soon you get it. Some seem downright fraudulent. Most, i feel, are trying to do the right thing but the bad apple thing applies here as well.

Good Luck - Wayne

Talking Problem solved....

What I do is in the little box under your ship to address, you can leave a message for the seller. Just write in the box that if they do not leave feedback for you within 48 or 72 hours (or whatever you are comfortable with)of your payment, then negative feedback will be left for them!!! That will REALLY GET THEIR ATTENTION!! Then withhold your feedback to them until this time lapses. Then it is your option, but at least you warned them. This, I have found, gives the seller some power, too. They rely more on the feedback than you do!!! I think that this is fair to everyone involved, especially if they receive your money!!!

I agree with the others, I dont leave feed back till the seller does. Some of them seem go thru and leave feedback once a month. Like RPalmer said They always have time to collect the money.

Cub Cadet 123 I think you have a great formula there.

But for all the pieces and parts i have bought on e-bay 99.9% have been just wonderful people to deal with. :biggrin2.gif:

For a while there I was buying thoes 25 pounds of cub cadet nuts and bolts from parted cubs. I musta won 5 or 6 of them. I have around 100 lbs of junk, lol The actual IH labled bolts 1/4 fill a small coffee can.
Boy did i fall for one there, I swore I would have half a 5 gallon bucket of IH stamped stuff.SUCKER, lol.
I have had the feed back problem from both sellers and buyers.Seems if i get it at as steal the feedback is alot harder to get.And as a seller I just dont get it.I REALLY have a hard time leavin a neagative feed back, but probably shouldnt be as reserved.
It does irk me

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
