Default 1860 engine mount spacers
I've just finished rebuilding my 18 hp Kohler and noticed two of the engine spacers missing from the rear of the engine (flywheel end) so I replaced them and the drive shaft is misaligned now do to the bushings. I could have lost them from a previous time when the bolts came loose. Does any one know whether or not they're suppose to be there. It also has the flywheel shield forced into the shield that is in between the engine and tractor.Thanks Leon

You need them if not the engine will sit on a slope and throw off the drive line. You can contact one of the site sponsors or try and machine one or use washers to space it out to the correct thickness.

Cub parts calls for 4 spacers part # 950-3009 @ $6.33 ea.

Is the ideal to get the best alignment with the shaft cause I have them in and I'm sure it would be better without them.

They were shipped from the factory with them so I would put them back in there but it's your cub and you can do as you wish.
