Default #1 Tiller on 1772

I have had this 1772 for a number of years and picked up a #1 tiller. I decided to rebuild it and mount it on the 1772. I purchased a 3 point hitch from xtreme this winter, and after getting it mounted, I thought I could mount the tiller and drive on the plate. Attached are some pictures of the project.

Looks like a fun build. The gear box and pulley should be on the right side of the tractor. Not sure of any problems from mounting it like you have it now.

Default Reverse tine tiller

I actually went to a lot of trouble putting the pulley on this side because I wanted the tines to run reversed. I ended taking the tiller apart to do this. I had to extend the shaft by welding an extension on the left side. Originally i planed to just turn the shaft over but this is not possible.

The rears are interforce AT30-8 x 12. I got them on ebay. I wanted them to raise the tractor. I had some spacers made by xtreme motor works so the tires are centered on 36". My rows in the garden are 18"

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
