Got the 1450 winterized.
Hello all. About a week ago I picked up a 1450. In advance I bought a QA-42A snowthrower for my 1250 but never got it on because I was still mowing with it. Anyways I cleared out the garage for our walk behind and the 1450. She smokes on start up but runs good. I hope to fix the smoking part this coming spring. I put synthetic in it for winter. Now shes ready for work! I can't wait to test out my new purchase!
P.S. I have some pictures if anybody wants to see them.

Great looking set up!! Judging by the forecast, it may find some business soon as some snow was headed for your area. I hope you get some snow and get a great run with your 1450! I, also, like using the synthetic oil in my cubs and notice a difference in the performance while using it.
