Unhappy My 1782 Went on CL Yesterday

I know I will regret it later, but the 1782 is too big for my yard and there just isn't enough storage space, so I placed a for sale ad on the D/FW Craigslist yesterday.

Yes, I will really miss it. Hopefully, I will find another one later on after I clean out some of the other projects that are taking up all my space.

Default I Removed the 1782 from CL today!

My ad ran for two weeks with only two inquiries and no buyers. I decided there was a message there so I pulled the ad. I wasn't really ready to give it up and have now figured out how I can store it for the winter and play with it some more. That makes me happy!

Good, you have a sweet 1782. I even thought about a road trip from Galax VA to pick it up. Hope you keep it, they don't make anything close these days.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
