Default What rear 3 points will fit 782D..??

Will the rear PTO and 3 point off a 2082 fit a 782D? Are the rear frames similar? Do I need a cast iron rear end? If its not a simple bolt on, how much needs to change?

The Cat 0 3pt's are different from a SGT and GT. Cast iron or aluminum doesn't matter. I'm sure you could adapt a SGT 3pt to fit.... but they are different. The correct "model" of 3pt is a 389.

It would be a big job to do, the PTO would require more work than it's worth, I think a pump with a spline output would be needed, I'm sure the fuel tank would be in the way as well. I think the three point will mount up but the lift rod needs shortening. Really IMHO if you want to run rear PTO powered implements I think you would be better off having it on a super.

GT welcome to OCC. No, the rear pto was only offered on the SGT's and I think you would be better off to buy a used cat 0 for a GT or get one from Xtreme Motorworks.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
