Default Priority Mail

It seems in the last few months, I have bought several things off eBay that had "Priority Shipping" as part of the purchase.

Two items seem to vanish into thin air. Never did get them. Seller had to resend items. The USPS states it is 2 Day Priority Mail but it takes 7 business days to get delivered (USPS does not guarantee Priority Mail).

Here we going again. another two packages past the 2 day advertisement.

So, I am thinking. What is Priority Mail have priority over....?? Pony express??, Carrier Pigeon?? Grandma in a wheelchair??

To add insult to the situation, ever try to call the USPS & make inquiry? Their customer service rep I believe is Helen Wait.

There seems to be little quality control there these days and way understaffed, they only get mail from the boxes at 5 pm now .

you might try having it stay at the post office for you to pick up .

ABC news did a test yrs ago sending fragile items with all the carriers and USPS won the test.

I know what you mean, Roland. We've had those issues with the mail also.

I'd rather pay a little extra and deal with UPS or FedEx. I don't care for USPS.

well I ship hundreds of things a month out from selling on Ebay. Here is what I know. there was a policy change Feb 28th. There is no more standard post from your area to zones 1 2 or 3 (from your area) now since we all live in different areas the zones 1 2 and 3 are different for each of us. this is causing a huge back log of packages due to the fact. there is a ton more package going priority that normally would get sent common carrier. the post office figures it will take 4 to 6 months to get all of this stream lined. this is why the started it in March 1 to be ready from 2014 holiday season.

But because of Ebay policy on shipping charges, I now have to list everything as priority shipping or eat a ton of money in shipping and handling. because I can no longer ship standard in zones 1 2 or 3 I have to list everything at priority rate or Ebay buyers can cry to ebay and say well he said standard shipping and he charged me for priority. I want my shipping money back because I was over charged. I use to list every thing as standard shipping and figure for the furthest point from me. and if I could get it to you priority for the same rate I send it priority. Can't do that no more. March 14th I had a class opened on me. A guy in Kansas city opened it. he bought a desk top printer from me for parts. I had 25 listed as shipping because that's what the rate was on the 26th of feb. he bought it and paid for it on march 4th. I went to ship it, no more standard shipping. cost 45 to get it to him. he paid the shipping takes the item, then filled a cass with ebay claiming I over charged him for shipping. ebay made me refund his shipping. all of it. so the 25 printer he bought cost me 26 dollars to send him after ebay and paypals fees. So now everyone pays Priority across the country.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
