Default Cub Auction

Not sure if this is the right place for this but came across an auction in NE Ohio that some of you might be interested in. Several complete tractors and looks like a lot of parts and motors. I have no connection to the principals or the auctioneer. Wish I could go but busy that weekend.

Default cub

Good auction, that' a busy day. Sugarcreek GT show, Kidron tractor&engine show and auction. Sounds like a trip from south to north to north. I usely go to Sugarcreek and stop at Midvale Speedway for the evening. There's another one in that area 17th that's enormous. Those areas are my old stomping grounds. We have our first pull the 18th (hoping for a rainout) so i can go the 17th. Would like to meet Cub Crazy maybe Eric, Mlamar. Who knows who else. If i go it will be without a truck or trailor! Mike

WOW, there are a lot of parts there.
Not all rusted to heck either.

Auctions such as this one just do not take place down here.
It must be a "an up north thing" as private owner farm/household/estate auctions are very rare around here.
Very common in the upper Midwest though and I miss that.

Yes, lots of estate, retirement and down-sizing auctions around here, especially now. Could drive you crazy trying to keep up with it all. I'm on an on line auction I just happened across that has a brand new TSC 3pt hitch post hole digger with a 9" auger. They claim used once but you can see from the pics it's not even been put together and the paint on the auger is still shiny. It ends Friday and have to pick up on Sat. if I get it. Wish me luck!

My dad will be going. Unfortunately I can't as we will be visiting family in Wisconsin that same weekend.

I thought the Sugarcreek show was the weekend before?

Mike- Got more info on the show in Kidron? My dad lives in Dalton just down the road.

Didn't get the PHD, got up to the point it was no longer a bargain and had to drive over an hour to pick it up, and didn't really need it. I had my fence work done by a contractor last year so it would only get occasional use. I let the other things I bid on go too. Oh, well. On some items at another auction that is closer to me, worth getting some small items.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
