Kawasaki FD-620D question
Well, I see I've stepped in it now.....
I have a Cub Cadet 3205. The engine is a Kawasaki FD-620D. That's all to the good. Then we come to what model of FD-620D it is. I have one reference saying it is an FD-620D / S21. So far, I can't find anything on models. Is FD-620D / S21 a good model for my 3205? If this isn't correct, I need to know where to find the model no of which FD-620D it is...... I'm trying to buy front and rear crankshaft oil seals, and the model of FD-620D is important.

According to the Cub Cadet Chart, the 3205 came with a Kawasaki FD620D with spec number AS21
I went to: CC Parts Look up I found Oil seals.... KM-92049-2112

I don't know much about engines. But, I want to know if the following is right. This is sort of nit-picky:
This Kawasaki chart does not list AS21: http://kmcb2c.econnect.partsandwarra...MBEROFITEMS=63 Hopefully, the designation S21 agrees with Kawasaki's chart. I hope the front and rear crank oil seals are not in the variations of the engine. I would hope they would be the same. Same thing for pan gaskets. Hopefully they are not different from variations of the engine.

The information that was supplied earlier is correct and accurate. If you don't believe it, then do an internet search and see what you can find.

My 1999 built 3205 has a FD620D-BS21 in it. Roland has the correct seal. Looks like the front and rear are the same.
