Don't use Valspar aerosol paint
A little over a month ago I used some yellow valspar paint on an item and its still a little sticky, it seems dry to the touch but if I left it sitting on the seat in my truck for 4 hours and was left with some nice yellow paint on my truck seat. FYI a little bit of brake cleaner on a rag will clean paint off a cloth car seat without hurting the fabric. When your looking for paint for your next project I'd look elsewhere.

I just used Valspar IH white on my O. It hardened up just fine. Slower than the Duplicolor School Bus Yellow I used but I'm happy.

Just to clarify this was valspar paint+primer in one from Lowes. My concern would be that if you painted a tractor with it and used the tractor to mow grass that the sun would make the paint sticky again and the grass would stick. The paint seemed fine bit it took very little heat to make it sticky again so i wouldn't use it on something that your gonna put to work right away.

ANY oil based paint will do that, if you do not get the volatiles out correctly.
Painting when it is cold, or humid is bad,,, I like to paint when I can leave it in the sun for a few hours. One time, I reverted to a trash bag to "solar collect" some heat, that worked real good!!

Seen that happen before when you don't shake a rattle can up good before using it.
