I've been thinking of building some sleeve hitch mounted forks and came across this. It would be able to lift much higher than a set of sleeve hitch mounted forks that I was originally planning to build. I already have rear hydraulic ports on my 100. I plan on building mine with a lift height of 4-5ft.

I think it's an awesome idea. But I wonder about mounting it to the sleeve hitch adapter. I see it bending because of the long lever. What about mounting it like the IH attachments attach? They don't use the sleeve hitch adapter and mount directly to the U bracket on the bottom of the rear end. Just a thought.

I plan on mounting it directly to the lower 3-point bracket but plan on using the rear lift to make the whole thing tilt instead of adding a tilt cylinder like the one in the pic. I'm sure I'll need to add some front weight to the tractor. I'll do a mock up first out of wood to figure out all of the geometry.

Looking forward to your progress. I'm sure it will be awesome as are all of your other projects. I think it will be a very handy attachment when finished.

I did a quick mock-up to figure out the geometry and pivot points. It will take at least a 12" stroke cylinder to get 48" of lift. It sticks out about 48" past the back of the tractor when lifted so it will have a lot of leverage and take quite a bit of front weight to hold the front end down. Ag-Krane makes wheels to go on the bottom of their cranes to help on small tractors. I've thought of adding heavy casters to act as wheelie bars.
