I'm thinking the same. Red front axle, IH serial #tag and black aluminum rear axle. Nice tractor though!

Looks correct to me.....
Key in the right location, throttle is correct.... I don't see anything that makes me think it's a clone.

Am I missing it?

Come on..... he said he painted it. He could have made anything, any color he wanted. We have no idea what color it was...

Diesel's were not made until 1984. I'd like to see a close up of the serial # tag. Did red tractors still have IH tags after 81?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
