Default Going price of Brinly cat. 0 plow?
What is the going price of Brinly cat. 0 plows now? I found one for $300, but that's way too high in my opinion. I'm not too interested in using a sleeve hitch plow and adapter. I would rather just get the whole Brinly cat. 0 setup.

Yep,
That's to going rate in my area, too. $250-$300. Be sure to scour CL and even watch the green Jane Doe sites. Sometimes you can find one for less and if you do, don't hesitate. If priced good they sell fast. Took me awhile to find mine. Good luck.

Well crap, I was thinking they were probably 100-125 too high. I guess I'll pass on the 3-point model.

Because it doesn't work exactly the same way as a plow with a Cat 0 hitch on it? If you already have a plow..... why not just make a Cat 0 hitch and weld it on? I'd just run an adapter. It's easy, and works the same. Actually better..... because you can offset the plow exactly where you need it.

The Cat 0 can be offset too, simply loosen the U bolts and slide it where you want it. I've run a sleeve with an adapter, but I prefer the Cat 0 behind a super, It's just a much more robust setup than the sleeve hitch plow IMHO. The prices for them can be crazy, try searching for power king attachments, Ive found some good deals that way.

Yeah..... that's true.

Only difference I see between the plow itself is the bolt flange on the front opposed to the clevis style hitch. Extreme makes the whole set-up. I can't see that the plow is any heavier, just the hitch. I'd just build my own if I wanted a Cat 0. Not arguing...... but I can weld.

Jonathan, I agree %100, I was actually considering converting a sleeve to cat 0 myself, until I compared them. The beams on the cat 0 are 1/2" thick where the sleeve is about 5/16", the standard is also a 1/4" thicker on the cat 0. I'm sure a converted sleeve would be fine, but that extra metal will be nice if I hook another log at plow day, lol
