Has anyone ever tried to put a Turbo charger on 782d?

It's been done before quite a few times. MikeMasheris on this website has turboed some Kubotas. Guys are using Smart Car Turbochargers and making adapter plates for them to fit the head. I've never done it myself either, but here are a couple videos of one on a 1512 Diesel. Same engine as the 782D, a D600. I know the guy who built this. It's a nice tractor. I drooled when I heard this and saw it. Enjoy.......

Rocking416, Nothing to do w/turbo but just curious.... What does your ser# tag look like? I have an 882 #735802 and trying to figure out what's up w/the weird placement and size of the tag. Is yours the stick on type or fastened w/rivets? Also, what are the dimensions and the placement on the frame of the tag itself?

PM if you wish.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
