Default Original cub with hydraulic front end loader
Hi There,
I recently purchased an original with a front end loader and have no history on the loader. I was told it was originally an original add on, and all the tractor was used for. I'd like to find an older 36" bucket that I can use on a regular basis as the one on it looks perfect. Does anyone have any information on the possible loaders that were used on the original cub? Any help would be great!

Here's the Danco loader on an Original on my FIL's farm

click pics for larger view






He used it to "muck" out the winter steer pen since a regular sized tractor didn't fit.

I think that one is homemade.

Most all the loaders that were produced used the tower as a reservoir. That one has it's own tank.

does kind of look homemade but pretty non the less. i think have seen one with that kind of tank tho not sure

Actually Jonathan that's how those early Danco's were set up, at least the ones I've seen at shows:

Yikes, that thing looks like it's been rode hard and put away wet on more than one occasion.

They still have the original frame with the cracks in it.

It was a tool on the farm and got used. It may not be the prettiest O around but it still runs well.

Those are the best machines. The ones that run well, but don't necessarily look the best. ALL of my machines get used. Sure, I wish they were all painted up nice..... but then I'd feel bad if they got scratched. Maybe someday.
