Default How do I get this *@^@&$ bearing out?
So I took the opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous weather outside and do some Cub work today. After a greasing and washing of the 2284, I turned my attention to the deck. Washed, greased, and installed. It was then I found out that the PTO on the 2284 has a seized bearing So I pulled the PTO and separated the two parts. Now I'm left with a bearing I can't for the life of me get out. Any suggestions guys?

2 sockets and a vice. One socket the same diameter, one socket larger diameter. Line em up in the vice, press it out.....unless there is some weird obstruction on the back I can't see.

Should this repair go bad you may want to look at these guys for a replacement.

I just bought one from them for an LT2180 and I am impressed. Also I didn't go through Flea Bay, just called them and did the deal over the phone.
