Default Loaded for Bear

Since I got the 2072 I needed to find away to haul all for Supers at once. Old trialer held two and one in truck was good for 3 but not 4 so a new trailer was needed. Went out for maiden voyage today. All seems good I can even leave the plows on the two which will be much easier than before just drive on and strap down no ramps or unhooking trailer. Will be taking first trip on Friday as we head to PA plow day hope the weather is good.

Nice trailer Charles! Looking at the attitude of the truck and trailer, I'm wondering if you want to turn everything around. If you back the two plows on then pull the next two on, there will be more weight over your trailer axles and should level things out some. If you try it, make sure the hoods are strapped on the rear facing ones. Regardless I hope you guys at plow day post lots of pics!

or he could put the 2 with plows on first which would put the last 2 at the end of the trailer which would eliminate some tongue weight.

Tractors will not fit on with plows on first either pulled or backed on. As the tailgates angle in the tractors angling down on beaver tail are too high and do not clear the gate.
Also I gain by allowing bumpers and front of tractors to stick out out past front of trailer. This is a 10,000 lb trailer so the weight is o problem for the trailer and the truck is sitting nice and level.

Nice setup. Two thoughts on the tongue weight, you could always remove the plows from the 2 in the back and shift the weight to the rear. Other possibility is a weight distributing hitch.

It looks like an F250? If so, that trailer and tractors is a small load compared to what it can really handle. The receiver hitch is the weakest part of the equation as they are usually rated at 500 or 600 pounds of tongue weight. It seems trailers tend to pull much better when loaded heavy on the front as opposed to more balanced; I load mine heavy on the front too.
