Seller claims this is an "old style" brinly cat 0 cultivator... What do the experts say?

That is a sears. It looks just like the plow I have with the tube frame. They were built for the FF series Sears tractors. Get it! It's probably worth more than a Brinly. They use special pins for the cat 0 arms and the replacement ones that everybody sells are not long enough and the replacements are NLA. I have one original pin on my plow and I need to get "Jeff in PA" to make me another. If you get it and need the pins let me know.
