Insulated Wiring Terminals

I'm asking this in the CCC forum 'cause that's what I have (CCC 782), but this could apply to any model that uses them. So, mods can move this post to where they feel appropriate.

Do any of you have a source for the locking type plastic wire terminals used in the Cadets? It seems there are quite a few of them throughout my tractor.

Example: My PTO wiring connection has a 1/4" wide x 1" long locking, plastic enclosure for the spade terminal.

Would assume this is for insulating to prevent grounding and to keep it as clean as possible.

What kind of connectors do you all like to use on new wiring applications?

Thanks. There's one on page two that is pretty close, but don't know why any insulated terminal would work as long as it kept out moisture and stayed together.

I got some ring terminals and the packard 56 combo packs that had the male, female and black quick connect coupler. comes in handy and you don't have go worry about the pieces being different sizes.

yeah most anything works as long as you get the same sizes on male/female ends and your wire fits.

I re-did a wiring harness for my 782 and re-used all of my plastic connectors. With a small screwdriver and some time, you can pull all of the old locking brass spade terminals out and put new ones in. Worked really slick, and got locking spade terminals similar to the ones on timbo's site.
