Slick enough to cut grass with?
Just got to spend a little tlc time on the 125 deck. Onmi MAE . Does this look shiny enough to cut grass with? I am pretty satisfied for a sprayed outdoors overcast job.

deck was pretty rough.
I really should have posted the before pics first but have a look. I believe I had 4 or 5 holes in this deck, I cut out the holes and welded in new steel. I had stripped it to bare metal last fall and had it in primer ready to paint. I had moved it to the back storage building over winter, but when I pulled it out this spring there were a few places bubbled under the primer so I stripped back down to bare steel and treated it with "must for rust "(phosphoric acid). Guess now time will tell.

Thank you gentlemen, I can use the encouragement. Turned out pretty good, and then, pushing it into the garage, yep I did, I dropped it!
 ! Uggh, man I get so upset when I work so hard on the darn thing, twice even. Oh well I will touch it up when I get the rest of the white parts prepped for paint. I started on the deck first because it was the roughest part. Now I need to fiberglass a couple of places on the original seat, and get the hood and dash ready. The brace on the hood is broken and the PO drilled and put in an angle bracket with a couple of screws, so a little weld and body work required there. As for the dash, I've got the set screw out for the hydro lever, it wiggles on the shaft, hoping it will come off in my hand one day, yeah like that would happen, but never hurts to be optimistic. Hydro lever
The hydro handle on my 169 did the same thing. I tried several "persuasions", that did not work. So, I took everything loose (Was going to anyway), and was able then to hang the whole thing upside down, with the rod in the vice, and "whang" on the bottom bracket, to pull the rod out of the handle.
