Default Build Date Revisited
Is there a way to determine when my 1772 was built by using the serial number? There is no build date sticker on the frame. Is there an alternate spot where a duplicate sticker/code may have been placed? Perhaps someone with a serial number close to mine could narrow the build date.

My serial number is 788373. What I can read of the build tag is ?039G. I might be able to see it better in the daytime.

My serial number is 787784. Hopefully someone has one that is close with a build date tag.

Frank, the one on CL that is for sale is 786977 and has a date code of C139G. I'll look at my others tomorrow and see what I can find.

That's only 807 away from mine. Would that be a couple days of production?
