3- Point hitch question

Hello all, I have a GT 3100 and considering installing a 3-point hitch, I know there is a lift cylinder on the tractor now, dose the 3-point utilize a lift cylinder of its own, the used hitch that I'm looking at doesn't have one with it, Thank you for your help.

It should attach to the existing lift cylinder.

You will need the lift cylinder on the 3k machines. If you found a hitch for less than $500, buy it! They are NLA and nobody at this time makes an aftermarket. Here is what the model 365 hitch looks like.

This is for the older 3k machines with the dual disc brakes. You will need the model 207 hitch. I think you can make the 365 work but will need to fab up a few parts.

i guess i stand corrected, i just assumed it was like all the other 3 point setups.

So the existing cylinder lift works the deck and the 3- point hitch? What is for sale is almost all of oaks picture he doesn't have the cylinder or the bracket that the hyd. cylinder sits on behind the rear plate, however I think I purchased one of those cylinder's and the bracket is available for about $90.00 I can get what he has for $300.00 is this a decent price?

No. You need a second cylinder for the 3pt.
