Hello from Northwest Ohio
Thought I should introduce my self. I joined back in 2010 and am a semi retired farmer, I have been lurking around gathering info and admiring the fine tractors on this forum, and decided to get involved. I have a number of Cubs in my herd including a 100 with a creeper gear that I restored and mainly use to till the garden and spray the lawn. A 127 with electric lift that is used as a beater mower. A restored 782 with power steering, super steer axle from a 1864, a GT-46 deck with a bagger attachment and a 20 HP Command engine swap. It is used to collect leaves in the fall and the wife uses it to help with the mowing. It is a great running and driving machine. I also have two 782 parts tractors and a 1864 parts tractor. Two 1872's, one with a 23 HP Command swap that is my main user tractor for now and then will become a dedicated snow blower tractor after the rebuild of the other 1872. For it I plan to install a 28 HP EFI Command engine, triple hyd valves with front and rear outlets and separate control of the three point lift and center lift, I also have a 60 inch mower deck for it from a newer style Cub Cadet that I adapted to work on a 1872. It will be painted to look like a 5488 farm tractor. I also have a 451 snow blower, a 1A rear tiller and a QA42a snow blower. I guess you can't have too many Cubs. I also just scored a White 42 inch sickle bar mower today that will get installed on one of the parts 782's after I replace the blown up KT17 with the Mag 18 from the 1872 I am rebuilding. I guess that is enough of my rambling. Got to many projects to finish!!!!

Thanks Terry. Yes I do have a collection. I told the wife that I am tired of changing implements so I will just get a cub for each job and just leave the attachment on it. I will see what I can do about some pictures after I get them out of winter storage. The only one out now is my worker 1872 as I just removed the snow blower and heat houser and have been using it to roll the lawn. I need to get the 100 out and mount up the tiller so I can till the garden.

Nice collection Fred. I'm in southwest Ohio and I fell into this whole Cub Cadet family by accident when I bought a rare 882 to mow my lawn. I had no idea it was collectible or that there was an entire Cubby community out there. I just wanted to find out how to fix my tractor and here I am.
