Got there just in time
A friend called and said he thought he saw a cub cadet in the salvage yard. I headed out and saw a poor old 149 about to get loaded on the
semi. The shadow is from the truck. Everything is ok but the dash and steering wheel. Headlights and grill are still good. Another saved...

I can't believe that anyone would throw away a Cub Cadet, especially a 149...

Nice save! Amazingly, that looks to be in better shape than about 1/2 of the ones I have purchased. I passed on a 107 (127) with a good running 12 hp engine on it yesterday for $50. I just ran out of room and time. Hope it doesn't meet a similar fate. One mans junk is another man's treasure......Looks like you found some gold or confederate yellow at the end of the rainbow!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
