Default Bagger for Cyclops

Hi, Noob here,

(Reposted from Off Topic>General...Opps!)

Recently bought a CC 2182 with a GT 54” 324190 deck. In searching for a bagger, accessories list a 293 (190-293-100). I came across a 345 (190-345-100). In comparing part number’s (snoozer), they have the exact same, except the 345 has an additional assembly for a “reverse rod,” and the deck bracket part numbers are different.
Does anyone know if it will fit my deck? The unit came off a 3185 with a 48” deck.

Not exactly answering your question, but. I use the same mower deck, 324190, on my 1864. I also have a Trac-vac. I tried a bagger unit using the mower deck discharge boot from the Trav=vac. Did not work even with dry grass, a very light cut and a high lift blade on the outboard location. Always clogged in the smooth plastic discharge tube. The dealer suggested a mower deck blower unit. I didn't bother trying to locate one.

I had a 1440 with a 46" deck and a bagger, it worked great. wish I hadn't sold it.

A 46" deck works great for bagging without a fan assist. Works even better with a pull behind cart and and blower.

A fan assist/bagger is listed for an 1864. Doesn't say which deck it is used for.

Having used the 46" decks and the 48"/54" decks, I'd be surprised if the latter would work for bagging without some kind of vacuum assist.

Default Bagger has blower.

Thank you for responding so quickly.
The 293 and 345 are fan assist baggers. Just wondering if the 345 will fit on my deck.

I use a 345 FAB on my 3205 and it works awesome. I would think that it is impossible to clog one. If you are talking about the deck bracket part# 603-0624, you don't need those, mine are missing and it still works great. I don't know what that reverse rod is either. I'll check mine but I think it is missing. If you don't mind me asking, what price are they asking for it?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
