Seat Adjustments
After many years using John Deere lawn tractor products, I have just purchased my first ever Cub Cadet XT2 LX46 Fab deck. I am 6'5" tall and have the seat adjusted all the way back but find it really uncomfortable for my long legs over reaching the pedals. Has anyone modified their mount to fit a taller person or know anything I can do to help get this seat back farther? Any advice welcome.

Welcome to the forum!
Most all of us here own older tractors. Only maybe 3 or 4 have purchased the XT series. That said, no one has modified any that I have seen.... but your really tall!! My suggestion would be to look at the underside of the seat and see of the seat itself has another set of holes you can bolt the seat base to. Some seats have more than one set of holes. Only other thing you can do is build an adapter plate or rail set to move it back.

I modified the seat for my son-in-law who was 6'-7", on his 109 by using unistrut between the seat base and the springs the seat attaches to. Raised it the height of the unistrut, (1-1/2" ), plus moving it back several inches.

I added some parts to my 129 to raise the seat a little bit. I added two 1 inch thick metal blocks under the seat assembly hinge mounts, and used longer threaded rod bump stop/spacers in the rear (bought from McMasterCarr.) (seat is all the way back too.)
I'm only 6', but long-legged. My knees used to be into the steering wheel. You may have to add some hardware also, to get the space you need.

Looks like a couple of others have already alluded to what I was going to suggest. Since you are already "tall in the saddle", rather than move the seat back, just move the seat up.

We raised the seat about 3-4" on a 382, it was just too low for us at 6' 2".
Funny now that I think about it, my dad bolted a 2x4 to the pedal of a Deere 110 so I could depress it all the way when I started mowing grass at the ripe old age of 6 or 7. Guess Mama fed me well.
