Default Early snow removal

Came across this "motion picture"
of snow removal, depiction conditions less than 20 years before I was born.
Those members here experiencing a 'nor'easter can understand.
Enjoy

That was out standing! Love how the wing plows worked. Thanks for posting that one.

That's really neat George! Some of those machines still said "Holt" on them. They were made before the Caterpillar name. Hard to believe that we've come so far in mechanical things in so few years.

I don't know where they are coming from, but more and more of those old "promotional" videos are being uploaded to YouTube. Lots of old IH promo vids on there now. Pretty neat!

Cool video Goerge.
My granddad used to plow the town roads in the late 40's to the mid 50's with a Austin-Western six wheel grader with the V-Plow up front. Grader is long gone, but there's still two V-Plows behind the house in the woods...
Anyone looking to build a snow plow. Price, $0,000

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
