Dang it, forgot all about draining that cold dense winter air out of the tires before we started mowing. I did use the ugga-dugga scale for torqueing the M18 heads though.

Something funny along these lines at the shop I worked in the 80s
A husband told his wife to not run the car low on coolant , she with no understanding of an engine took the garden hose and filled it up to the top ,problem was it was the oil cap

That is too funny!!! Years ago my sister worked in our shop at the parts counter. She sometimes would get on my nerves...so I has assigned her the special task of locating and ordering 2 muffler bearings and 2 kanooder valves for an old Briggs & Stratton engine. TWO hours later she came to me and apologized for not being able to find the parts. We all had a good laugh...she was a good sport...(she quit a week later)...oops!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
