Default Flea and tick killer
What are you guys using to help control fleas and ticks in your yards? Over on gt talk a members wife just passed away from a tick bite she received two weeks prior, I've already had a few on me from being outside doing yard work and I worry about my kids since they like to play outside alot. I'm looking for something cost effective since my yard is a pretty decent size. Thanks.

Don't know what to suggest but there have been many news articles about you Northern fellows having an explosion in ticks this year. In the South we try to treat the pets and put on bug spray. So far they don't seem any worse here than normal. Small yards one might could treat. A lot of citronella candles used here for cookouts/outdoor parties etc.

Use Permethrin on everything including my hunting clothes. Really does wonders keeping ticks away.
