Default Anything IH Louisville left to see?
I'm headed to Louisville tomorrow till Saturday. I know that's where IH used to make CC at, I was wondering if there is a museum or anything like that around? I'm also heading to Holiday World or something like that in Santa Claus, Ind.

I'll try.... it'll be interesting with a bunch of kids 4-12.... at least I've got my own truck and my own hotel room. Won't have to worry about sharing with anyone but the wife and my boys.

I don't know about anything Cub Cadet related in Louisville, but the Louisville Slugger plant is kinda cool to tour. It's surprising how fast they turn a piece of square stock into a ball bat.

One thing about Louisville, right away, my Daughter and I both noticed how much Downtown Louisville and Downtown St. Louis resemble each other. That probably doesn't really mean anything to anyone else, but we were both kinda looking for the arch as we pulled into town...

I have driven through Louisville a couple of times, and I drive through downtown St. Louis everyday (right under the arch), but I guess I never noticed the resemblance.

Maybe we were/are crazy, the biggest difference that we noticed (just from driving through) was that in Louisville there is a Joe's Crab Shack on the river side of the highway instead of an arch.

I think was used to be the factory was demolished and is now part of the Louisville Airport.

Ya, I remember reading that in Ken Updike's book.

It'll be cool anyway, who knows, may have to browse CL while I out there.

Holiday World is awesome. Be sure to ride the Voyage, Raven, and the other one i cant remember. Im a roller coaster freak and make it a point to ride all the coasters while im there. The water park is cool as well. Oh and if you can while in louisville, eat at the spagetti factory, its delicious
