Default Semi-Gloss Black Paint Source?

Does anyone know where I can get Semi-Gloss Black Enamel Paint to paint the Cub Cadet trim pieces, and Kohler Engine? I've tried Case/IH and they just offer a Gloss Black. The automotive paint stores say they don't have a semi-gloss, but one PPG store had a satin that was similar, but he wanted $304.00 a gallon for it. I need about a quart, and am not paying that much for it.

I'm not wanting to use rattle can at this point but might be forced to. Do you have pictures of your painted stuff?

Hmm.....funny I went to lowes looking for that exact stuff and they only had gloss and flat black.

Would you say the Krylon or the Rustoleum is better? I know the Krylon rattlecan primer is really thin stuff going on. Of course I will be mixing this paint with some Acrylic Enamel Hardener and reducing it as needed with enamel reducer to spray through my HVLP gun.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
